When his career as a pro baseball player came to an unexpected stop, Larry Fabrizio had to switch lanes. He admits that it was not a dream job when he started in the pharmaceutical industry, but over time his contributions to developing medicines, the friendships and world travel made it exactly that. Many of the colleagues he works with today were not born when he joined Ciba-Geigy — Fabrizio is celebrating 52 years with Novartis!
