Starting lines
In a world in which innovation is driving the pulse of business, change is a constant. For sure, in a world driven by AI and other breakthrough technologies, what may feel different is the pace of change. But the result is much the same. The world of work is once again to be transformed in a fundamental way, much like when electricity, computers or the internet emerged. What does this mean for younger generations and for those in the middle of their career? Starting Lines wants to explore these new pathways. Whether career starters or professionals with a long background, we are curious about how they want to develop and progress in their professional lives.

At the intersection of science and care
A famous adage attributed to Albert Einstein says that you cannot solve the same problem with the same mind that created it. We agree. To overcome today’s challenges in healthcare, we need new approaches in science, clinical research, and access to healthcare. These changes need not always to be revolutionary. Small tweaks will often do the trick. Also, innovation does not necessarily have to come from established sources. The best ideas often come from the players on the ground. The best leaders will be those who have the courage to pursue these daring new directions.
