
Achim Plueckebaum and Gabriel Eichler from data42 have not only helped build one of the industry’s largest data pools with clinical data from nearly one million patients within a record time frame of two years. Equipped with artificial intelligence, the map of life, as the big data system is known, will also provide researchers with new ways of working that just a few years ago were a distant dream and could allow them to develop new drugs.
