More than baseball

Moore Park came alive with energy, teamwork, and a powerful sense of community during a special baseball event on Chicago’s West Side in August of 2024. In this short interview, we spoke with Dr. Fuder, Director of Faith-Community Mobilization for Together Chicago, and Stefanie Marquardt from City of Refuge Chicago. They share why this event was about much more than just baseball — touching on mentorship, neighborhood unity, and creating safe spaces for youth to grow.
