Born as a twin, Novartis Pavillon architect Michele De Lucchi’s life has revolved around the idea of differentiation and individuality. As a first conscious decision, De Lucchi, one of the world’s most renowned designers and architects, grew a beard, which became a hallmark of his style. Today, his design thinking is revolving around the idea of social sustainability of architecture as well as the future of work, which should be inspired by a deeper understanding of the concept of quality time – a concept Millennials have embraced like no other generation before them and which has inspired De Lucchi’s Pavillon project.
