After a 36-year career with Novartis, Christian Bruns is set to retire as Global Immunology Disease Area Head of the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). He is ending his career on a high as he was able to support his colleagues to develop several therapies, including the first Factor B complement inhibitor, by providing space to explore and follow the science towards clinical application.
