A Small Question with a Big Impact

Peter Messerli, one of the world’s most renowned climate scientists, spoke  with “live” magazine ahead of his lecture at the Novartis Campus about his varied career, which has taken him from remote villages in Madagascar and Laos to the United Nations, where a simple question from Secretary-General António Guterres changed his perspective: Shouldn’t science, instead of merely warning us about environmental crises, show us how we can overcome them?
