How's your job?
There weren’t many women in data science when Shola Richards began her career, let alone women of color. But she has been helping to pave the way for more diversity in data science and medicine in general. Beyond her role in research, she’s a member of Novartis’s cross-cultural employee resource group (ERG) and a mentor for the Next Generation Scientist program, where she’s inspiring and encouraging younger generations of scientists to join the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
