
Skye Towers still had a boy’s name and didn’t quite understand what was going on with her when she started collecting women’s clothes at the age of 10. Later in life, she felt guilty and was afraid of losing her job, her house and – most importantly – her children if she revealed that she wanted to live as a woman. While Towers was able to create a strong and stable relationship with her children and keep her job at Novartis, she remembers the transition as a long and challenging period in her life.
