When researcher Frederique Loeuillet-Ritzler was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome in 2019 it felt like an eye-opener. Finally, the problems with her loose and unstable joints had a name and a cause. Although she is still struggling with her disease, she has decided not to allow her condition to define her but instead accept whatever cards she was dealt with.
